My name is Lance Bennington, and I was born in Olympia, Washington, not far from where my shop is today, At the age of 8, I started working with leather alongside my dad, who was a custom knife maker and leather craftsman. My job was to cut out the knife sheaths and saddle stitch them together (with his guidance, of course). Around the age of 12, I started making knife sheaths and belts on my own. That's when my dad first introduced me to wallet making and my passion for making leather goods grew. It's been going strong ever since!
